What we collect on this website

When you contact us

If you email us we keep your message and email address so we can reply and refer back to the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list from a support email.

When you buy Pro

Payments are processed by Freemius, our payment provider and merchant of record. They collect your name, email, billing address and payment details in order to take payment and issue your licence. We never see or store your card details. We can see your name, email, licence key and purchase history in our Freemius dashboard. See the Freemius privacy policy.

Server logs

Our host records standard access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.

What the plugin does on your site

This is the part most people want to know about, so we will be precise.

• Click analytics (Pro) are stored in your own WordPress database, on your own server. The counts never leave your site and we cannot see them.
• Do Not Track is respected. If a visitor’s browser sends a DNT signal, click tracking is skipped entirely for that visitor.
• GDPR consent mode stops any external request — such as fetching live share counts — until your visitor has given consent.
• No visitor data is sent to us. The plugin does not phone home with analytics about your visitors.
• Licence checks (Pro) contact Freemius to validate your licence key. That exchange concerns your licence, not your visitors.

If you run the plugin on a site in the EU or UK, you remain the data controller for your visitors. The plugin gives you the consent and DNT controls described above so you can comply.

Cookies

This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and WordPress sets a cookie if you leave a comment or log in. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who we share data with

• Freemius — payments, licensing and invoicing.
• Our hosting provider — to serve this website.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep things

Support emails are kept while they remain useful for supporting you. Purchase and licence records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@fusefloat.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
